Former ASP world surfing champion Mark “Occy” Occhilupo teamed up with Australia’s top chefs for the second Sydney Surfing Chefs for SurfAid cocktail party raising over $65,000.
On 9th of March 2016, 300 plus guests descended on The Bucket List, Bondi and enjoyed an outstanding night of excellent food and fine wines, with the venue proving to be the perfect backdrop for the Surfing Chefs for SurfAid event.
Guests included surfing and sporting elite, Mark “Occy Occhilupo, SurfAid CEO Andrew Judge and Dr Dave Jenkins founder of SurfAid along with their corporate supporters, top media including channel 7 Sunshine presenter, Mark Beretta and channel 10’s Melinda Nucifora, as well as a good sprinkling of Bondi local legends including Rod Kerr, Eugene Tan, and Mary Anne Cronin…and of course the chefs.
The exquisite 10 course degustation, was led by Tom Walton, THE BUCKET LIST BONDI and Russell Blaikie, MUST WINE BAR PERTH, and their team of award-winning celebrity chefs from all across Australia, who share a common passion for surfing.
